GLESEC's END-POINT-SECURITY SOLUTION COMBINES STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY WITH ADVANCED SERVICES

GLESEC announced the launching of an information security program with BitDefender (www.bitdefender.com) to protect organizations’ end-point systems from internal and external attacks.
Under this program GLESEC will conduct advanced deployment of BitDefender products, provision the technology products and provide a comprehensive support under its SSP (Security Support Program). Clients of GLESEC managed security services will have the additional benefit of consolidation, aggregation and threat management reports based on the information gathered by the BitDefender systems and the other security counter-measures under GLESEC managed security services.
In each of their systems, BitDefender’s heuristics-based security software will provide clients with the industry’s highest protection against viruses, Trojan horses, spam and other malicious applications. Mail servers (both Linux-based and Windows-based) will also be protected under the same technology and supported by the same management platform.

GLESEC SSP or Security Support Program is part of the comprehensive range of services provided to GLESEC clients across the Americas. The SSP is an umbrella support agreement for all security products from GLESEC Technology Partners. It is different from GLESEC Managed Security Services (MSS) in that the MSS involves the remote administration of the security systems in addition to their support while the SSP is only the support component.
